Cubs orientation- All geared up for the camp.
We've changed into our home clothes but we still have our Oneida blue trademark scarf!
After lunch - all full and contented!
Mini-pioneering activity! - Cubs attempting to create solid, aesthetically-pleasing structures. You don't need expert spatial skills for this - just sharp eyes, adroit fingers and a good sense of direction to twirl the ropes around the chopsticks!
Syamil's half-completed mini-tent!
Thats the Oneida spirit!
We even met our senior scouts from East Spring Secondary!
On the night of the campfire, several distinguished guests were invited. That's Huming Bee & Steady Wolf with our VIPS. (The cubs asked me what my scouting name was, and I answered; "Shopping Queen" - and they believed me! Hehe)
Cheers!
And finally... all ready to depart for home sweet home!
At the end of the camp, I was certain that the fundamental objectives were met. The cubs were definitely tougher, had their physical and mental endurance challenged and their survival instincts were definitely induced!
We had a blast at Sarimbun Camp!
